Adriaan Moelker is a seasoned leader of global, innovation-driven businesses. Before joining BRAIN Biotech AG, he held a wide variety of management positions during his 30-year career, and his particular focus has been on Biotechnology. At AB Enzymes GmbH in Darmstadt, he was Managing Director for 9 years and during that time he directed the company to double-digit profit growth whilst building a strong business development pipeline. Previously, Adriaan had spent 12 years at Genencor (today DuPont) and DSM in the enzyme business, always focusing on business and innovation management. Consequently, he has extensive global experience in all key industrial enzyme segments: Food, Feed and Technical. For the past 6 years, he ran a printing solutions business for Flint Group, where he implemented substantial strategic change and accelerated the innovation pipeline.

Adriaan holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree from Nyenrode University in the Netherlands and has completed Executive Education modules at INSEAD, Fontainebleau (France) as well as at Harvard Business School, Boston (USA).

Michael Schneiders has more than twenty years of experience in the capital market with a strong focus on German equities and international institutional investors. Prior to his employment at BRAIN, Michael held a variety of management positions in investment banking, including Head of Equities & Research. He was also involved in the IPO of BRAIN.

Michael studied Business Administration with a focus on finance and marketing at the University of Siegen, Germany, and Economics at the University of Redlands, US. In addition, he completed several executive education modules in the US at the Kellogg School of Management and the University of Chicago.

In Mai 2020, Michael joined former BRAIN AG as Head of Investor Relations and later became, in addition, the Head of Sustainability. BRAIN Biotech AG appointed Michael Schneiders as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to the executive management board with effect from October 1st, 2022.

Johan Jansén-Storbacka serves as Executive Vice President of the BRAINBiocatalysts´ enzyme products business where he will drive the BRAIN Biotech Group’s strategy to strengthen its enzyme and fermentation business.
