Once a pioneer in white biotechnology, we have been developing biotechnological solutions for greater sustainability in industry since the early 1990s. For example, the first low-temperature detergent enzyme on the German market was developed in our laboratories. Today, as a group of companies, we are a leading European supplier of specialty enzyme products and a service provider in the field of biotechnological research and development.

Sustainability through Biotechnology

As a specialist in industrial biotechnology and contract developer and manufacturer (CDMO), we develop customized biotech solutions for industry. Bio-based solutions can replace chemical-industrial processes, help conserve resources, reduce the use of aggressive chemicals, or lower the energy requirements of an industrial process.

Our customers come from the food, chemical, health and cosmetics industries, among others. In many places, we have already been able to support them in achieving SDGs.
