Adriaan Moelker

Adriaan Moelker is an experienced manager of global, innovation-oriented companies. Before joining BRAIN Biotech AG, he held a number of management positions in the biotechnology sector during his 30-year career. At Darmstadt-based AB Enzymes GmbH, he served as Managing Director for nine years, during which time he led the company to double-digit profit growth while building a strong business development pipeline. Prior to that, Adriaan Moelker spent twelve years at Genencor (now DuPont) and DSM in the enzymes business, always focusing on business and innovation management. As a result, he has extensive global experience in all major industrial enzyme segments: Food, Feed and Technology. For the last six years, he led a printing solutions business for the Flint Group, where he implemented major strategic changes and accelerated the innovation pipeline.

Adriaan Moelker holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nyenrode (Netherlands). He has also completed executive education modules at INSEAD, Fontainebleau (France) and Harvard Business School, Boston (USA).

Adriaan Moelker has been appointed Chairman of the Management Board of BRAIN Biotech AG with effect from February 1, 2020 and until January 2027.

Michael Schneiders

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Michael Schneiders has more than twenty years of experience in the capital markets business with a focus on German equities and international institutional investors. Prior to joining BRAIN, he held various management positions in investment banking, including Head of Equities & Research. He was also involved in BRAIN's IPO.

Michael Schneiders studied business administration with a focus on finance and marketing at the University of Siegen, Germany, and economics at the University of Redlands, USA. He also completed several executive education modules in the USA at the Kellogg School of Management and the University of Chicago.

In May 2020, Michael Schneiders joined the then BRAIN AG as Head of Investor Relations and later also became Head of Sustainability. BRAIN Biotech AG has appointed Michael Schneiders as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from October 1, 2022, and until September 2025.
