Concentrated experience in enzyme development and upscaling
With the experience gained from over 190 scale-up projects, Biocatalysts Ltd has developed the "Plug & Produce" platform to optimize the yield and performance of enzyme production. The platform offers bacteria, fungi and yeasts as host organisms. These host organisms were developed in collaboration with the parent company, BRAIN Biotech AG. This company specializes in the discovery, development and cultivation of production strains.
With over 40 years of experience in enzyme development, the team of fermentation specialists at Biocatalysts Ltd. are confident that they can insert a selected enzyme sequence on behalf of a customer and immediately produce the enzyme in large commercial quantities with correspondingly good yields.
