To reinforce Biocatalysts market presence and further optimize customer experience, the company is streamlining its enzyme business for Food, Baking and Beverages as a new business unit Biocatalysts Food, led by Pieter-Jan Heijkoop. This strategic change allows Pieter-Jan and his dedicated team to focus exclusively on the Food, Baking & Beverages portfolio, while Daren Bryce and his team concentrate on Life Science and Fermentation Services / Contract Manufacturing.

Operations are harmonized and improved warehousing in Europe and the US enables faster sample distribution and order fulfillment. 

As part of these improvements, Biocatalysts is also aligning its marketing department, led by Pieter-Jan. With the appointment of Annika Elfner as Director of Product and Marketing Management, the company is consolidating resources across locations to strengthen collaboration and synergies and ensure a more unified approach to product strategy and customer engagement.
